Registered in the United States, AS19679 carries the sync, sharing, and backup traffic generated by the company's users and business customers. Operating its own network gave Dropbox tighter control over the cost and performance of storing hundreds of petabytes of data. Its addresses point to the Magic Pocket storage platform rather than to the users synchronizing files through it.
