What is Port 8081?
Port 8081 is a widely used alternate HTTP port for web servers, development tools, and artifact repositories. Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager uses this port as its default HTTP port for hosting Maven, npm, and Docker repositories. It is also commonly used by Hazelcast, various microservice frameworks, and local development proxy servers.
