Port Overview
What is Port 8300?
Port 8300 is used by HashiCorp Consul for server RPC (Remote Procedure Call) communication. Consul agents use this port to communicate with Consul servers for service discovery, key-value storage queries, and cluster coordination. This port must be accessible between Consul clients and servers in the cluster.
