XDMCP (X Display Manager Control Protocol) allows X Window System display terminals to request a login session from a remote XDMCP server. Transmits credentials in cleartext.

Cổng 177 (XDMCP) được phân loại là rủi ro cao. Cổng này là mục tiêu phổ biến của quét tự động và tấn công brute-force. Nếu buộc phải để lộ, hãy giới hạn quyền truy cập cho các địa chỉ IP đã biết.
