What is Port 71?
NETRJS-1 through NETRJS-4 (ports 71-74) were assigned for the Remote Job Entry service used on the original ARPANET to submit batch jobs to remote mainframe computers. Defined in RFC 740, NETRJS allowed time-sharing users to submit card-image job streams to a remote server.
